On a lovely day in LA Zappos.com visited our Showroom to ask our Creative Director Deb a few questions!
She spilled the beans on some of her fashion secrets, inspirations, and even her desired super power! Plus, there is a sneak peak on the coming summer season for Sanctuary! Its all so very exciting!

Sanctuary Celebrates FNO LA

Sanctuary clothing takes on Fashions Night Out in Los Angeles!
Creative director Debra and Brand Manager Erica took on the town for fashions most celebrated night around the world! First stop was was Nicole Richie and Randy Jackson at the Beverly Center kick off party! Then ofcourse the duo headed to Opening Ceremony, known as the holy grail of creativity around the sanctuary HQ.
After being inspired at Opening Ceremony it was time for champagne and spin to win at Marc Jacobs! Then a quick stop at Vivienne Westwood and ending the night at Ron Herman, our favorite LA institution. Overall it was a fashionably adventurous night!

 

Sophisticated and 70′s

Here at the Sanctary HQ we love the 70′s this fall season! Were diggin’ the old tunes and rocking out with furs, sherpas, and extra long lengths. You can find inspiration for this look by checking out our fall’11 look book! You want your print dress layered with a fur/ sherpa vest, a floppy hat, and some killer boots. Or amazingly comfy sweaters and hot leather shorts. Don’t forget your colored denim, Oh and panchos!

The Sanctuary crew is totally diggin’ Danger mouse’s project with Jack White, Nora Jones, and Daniele Lupi called ROME. This album is pure genius, make sure to look out for the 5 year project.

Sanctuary goes Sorority

Early September 2010 Sanctuary sponsored a Creative T-shirt contest to help  local Los Angeles Sorrorities raise money for their philanthropic cause. After a fabulous fashion show at Bloomingdales in Santa Monica, CA Gamma Xi won the contest and raised 1,500 for the Reading is Fundamental Foundation.

The time has come to put on our dancing shoes and our best festival gear… Happy Coachella! and our gift to you is our style day 3!

Were calling this ultra cool look, “Native South.” Your wearing your Sanctuary fiesta top with your Hi-Rise Peace Shorts and some suede fringe boots! Well because, we can’t get enough fringe! along with that make some of your own music with a coin bracelet. Look super chic with a floppy hat! and cool glass africano beads to hold the look together!

Coachella Style and Music Guide! 2

Now that Day One is covered, you started asking about Day Two! Well here it is… Day Two’s look is called the “Olive Tree Bangle.” Were loving the round shaped sunglasses mixed in with a thick cuff bracelet, and your rock of a ring. Add in that olive color for a subtle but solidly fab color…(goes especially with your new Coachella tan!) Rose colored sandals are the hype, goes well with most outfits! And to top off the outfit flaunt that cool hippy vest you’ve been dying to wear!
